Hyannis - Ned A. Allbecker, 60, died March 22, 2006, at his home after a long illness with cancer. He was the husband of Helen (Murphy) Allbecker for 31 years. Mr. Allbecker was born in Cincinnati, raised in Fairborn, Ohio, graduated from Fairborn High School in 1964 and attended Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He entered the Air Force in 1966 and served as an MP. He was honorably discharged while stationed at Otis Air Force Base. Mr. Allbecker worked at Warren Buick and for the Barnstable County Sheriff ’s Department. He retired from the department as a captain after 23 years of service in 2002. He loved working in his gardens and enjoyed classic cars and building boat models. He was also a member of WYCC. Besides his wife, survivors include two daughters, Kathryn and Karen Allbecker, both of Hyannis; his mother, Ruth (Bauer) Allbecker of Fairborn
