Dennis Michael (Denny) Boggs:

BOGGS, Dennis M. "Denny" age 65 of Fairborn, passed away Monday November 7, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton following a lengthy illness. He was born in Dayton, the son of Emery and Ellen Boggs. Denny was a 1964 graduate of Fairborn High School; earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Wright State University, and a Master's degree in Business Management from Central Michigan University. He served his country for four years in the U.S. Navy and followed with employment in civil service as Special Assistant to the Director, HQ AFMC/XP, WPAFB, Ohio, retiring after 35 years of combined federal service. He was a very special and wonderful loving husband and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Denny is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Leslie (O'Toole) Boggs; his mother, Ellen of Venice, FL; a sister, Barbara Travis and husband David of Tampa, FL; a brother, David and wife Shiretta of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; brothers-in-law, Keith Remy of Fairborn, Mike O'Toole and wife Pam of West Carrollton; dear friend, Andy Wisecup of Tipp City; as well as numerous loving nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Emery; and sister-in-law, Kathy Remy. The family will receive friends on Thursday November 10, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Friday November 11, 2011 at 10:00 A.M., Pastor Aaron Chivington officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Dayton.
