RICHARD ED DEAN, FHS FLYERS CLASS of 1964
Richard "Ed" Dean, age 71, of Fairborn, OH, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Dean.
Ed is survived by his mother, Ida Mae Dean; loving wife of 52 years, Gayle Dean (FHS-64); sister, Sharon (FHS-72) (Terry) Kempf of Fairborn, OH; brothers, Steve Dean and John Dean, both of Fairborn, OH; daughter, Tammy (FHS-83) (Scott) Pierce of Fairborn, OH; granddaughte...r, Nicole Pierce of Fairborn, OH; great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Pierce of Fairborn, OH; sister-in-law, Judy (Chris) Cline of Sabina, OH; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A 1964 graduate of Fairborn High School, Ed worked for Royal Crest Dairy and later retired from Teknol Division of Rubber Seal in Dayton. He always looked forward to visiting the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with his wife and visiting the casinos there. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ed’s memory to the following:
