In Memory

Alexis Spriggs

Alexis Jacquelene Spriggs was born on January 22, 1946 and passed into eternal rest on December 27, 2010. “Lexie” as she was known to all that knew and lover her, was a loving and devoted mother and daughter. Throughout her life she was a woman of strong principles and character who loved life, art, reading, food-either cooking or eating and helping others. She was a registered nurse, an EMS Coordinator and for a time Assistant Fire Chief; yet she still found time to be an acclaimed artist specializing in Mimbres Clay Art and read all “The Cat Who…” books. She is and will be surely missed by all those that were touched by her incredible spirit. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Spriggs; two sisters, Ann Hines and Lynn Stewart; three nieces, Fawn Stewart, Danielle Edgar and Michelle Browning; one uncle, Joe Spriggs. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Spriggs and Jacquelene Cook; one brother, Carl Stewart.
